Description
The 2021 Dixon spent 10 months in barrel, of which 25% were new, and was bottled in early March. This wine is a composition of sections of the original 1988 planting and the 2001 Kaye vineyard. Here there are pure red fruits made more complex and seductive with creamy, spicey and earthy layers. The palate is vibrant, supple then chewy, harmonious and drives with a flourish. It will be more complex and delicious with 5+ years cellaring.
